North Wester Area Commitee 2012
The North West region of the Irish Pony society is the newest IPS region. This region will predominately cover counties Sligo, Donegal and Leitrim. In recent years showing in these counties has gone from strength to strength. Ponies from these counties have won several top accolades in the show ring in previous years. It is hoped through this new area the showing success of the current members will grow and more people will have the opportunity to be part of The Irish Pony Society. Although a relatively small area it is full of showing enthusiasts and hopefully the creation of The North West Region will hopefully encourage more into the show ring.
